Morphology:
Stems clustered, 1-3 m tall, 0.5-1 cm in diameter. LEaves 7-12, with blade to 0.5 m long, divided into 2-5 sigmoid pinnae on each side. Inflorescence branched to 1 order.
Distribution:
Amazon region in Colombia, Guyana, Brasil and Ecuador?
Notes:
Plants resembling G. deversa but with once branched inflorescence from E Ecuador may belong to this species, but the question needs to be investigated further.
