Solitary understory palm. Stem 231 cm. With 9 leaves attached to the stem over a distance of 85 cm, leaf sheath 28 cm, petiole 10 cm. With one young and one old inflorescence. Vernacular name: Aija panca (Quichua, – my spelling).
